Pythagor, if I am not mistaken, said that democracy must be fought with as well as tyranny because these are things of the same order. To make it clearer, democracy is good only for parasites of the society. It makes pumping out of money and resourses easier for them. Have the simple people benefitted much from this 'power of people'? See who benefits from democracy. And you will see who really needs it, ic hope þæt nu þu understandest. |

I can not agree with you, but your opinion is not far from mine. I think the reason democracy won everywhere, is that it allows better to imitate activity without doing anything and to have more power on people. Because the majority of people, I mean whose opinion has weight, are people who do not understand anything in politics, economy... it's not actually their business. So it is a good way to hide themselves. They say: "we give power to people", but actually they keep power. You know, I am actually sure that democracy can not work because people, I mean working people who build and maintain the country and the society have other things to do than to think about the political or economical direction the country would choose. But uh... what is actually your political point of view? Are you on the "parent" forum? |

Usually it is fraught with consequences. (02-20-2010 02:30 PM)Belg Wrote: But uh... what is actually your political point of view? Are you on the "parent" forum? Are we here to sort out the members' political points of view? Is the "parent" forum lingvoforum.net? If it is then I am under a ban there until March. |
